I’m 45 and thought I’d heard all the 70’s had to offer. I stumbled upon this band today with the green eyed lady song and was intrigued. I just heard this masterpiece and am hooked. This is some of the most masterful key playing and musical arrangement I’ve heard. The Who, The Doors, Led Zeppelin are amazing. These dudes are in the same musical class.

Winwood’s vocals on this are beyond words. I’ve had this album since the ‘70s and am still listening to it today. Masterpiece.

This is the 2nd song I've listened to from Sugarloaf that I've never heard before. I did NOT realise how AMAZING they are. What an absolutely BRIILIANT band. Really AWESOME. Some of this is very progressive... reminds me so much of Yes. Really INCREDIBLE.

Hey Bobby Blotzer and Tracii Guns i saw your interviews about Richard Black being this shitty person but he was so great. His voice is awesome. Im a huge fan of Ratt and LA Guns but Richard Blacks Singing made all my friends love this album. He was so good. Anybody can play the drums and guitar but cant nobody sing like him. This whole band was great but Richard Black made it what it was and whoever wrote the music to contraband. Thank all of you for making this. My highscool years were amazing be😂of this song and album.

Reminds me of highschool parties and my friends in 91. We used to listen to this all the time. I bought the cassette without ever hearing it and damn it was good. Great find. Great song.

Way back in 1979/80 I had the live Paris version...while living on Narigama Beach, Sri Lanka. It was often my afternoon chill out music....on those hot tropical afternoons. Head space appropriately altered of cause. 😜 Pat Thrall's solo was just amazing.

When you look at the material they put out in the 80's, Speed Your Love To Me, Colours Fly, Alive And Kicking, This Fear Of Gods, Waterfront, Soul Crying Out etc, you realize that this belongs to a b side.

This is actually the instrumental version of White Hot Day off of Sparkle In The Rain minus the vocals. Backing track? It sounds good as just as an instrumental. The music is too good to bury in vocals.
